'REICHENBACH' is a long term project I'm working on for about one year.

It is about our perception of the human kind and of us as individuals: Do we walk on a destined path? Do we know, who we are? Are the lives we lead the ones we want to live? Do we just want to fit in? Are we trapped in society and afraid of breaking out? Or is society our sanctum and the one thing that makes the human kind so special?

My project consists of three levels.

Level One
The personal layer. The whole origin of the project is my own adoption and the fact that I found out about it at the age of 26 - at this point I thought I knew who I was but everything changed by knowing my own past is not what I thought it was. This made me question the most fundamental things and these things I visualize with snapshots of my environment and myself. It's kind of a big chaotic cloud of pictures where only glimpses of my thoughts become solid for seconds.
Those pictures I'm going to publish one after another in my REICHENBACH-blog.

Level Two
The wider view. These are staged photographs with clear concepts. Every picture focuses on one topic I picked of the cloud of Level One.

Level Three
The whole thing. Photographs are getting more abstract to connect the topics of level two with another. It isn't about individuals anymore - it's about humand kind.

I am still at Level One but in 2015 I'm going to start Level Two - so stay tuned!
